Adaptive Learning in Math Courses
The quality, availability, and effectiveness of adaptive courseware varies depending on the subject matter of the course. While there are common implementation challenges shared across disciplines, integrating adaptive learning into the curriculum of an English course, for example, often requires a different approach than for a Biology or History course. The final two webinars in our Adaptive Learning series focus on exploring the experiences community college faculty from specific disciplines have had integrating adaptive courseware into their classroom curricula. This first webinar will feature Math faculty from ATD network colleges participating in the Every Learner Everywhere (ELE) Initiative discussing how they approached using adaptive learning tools in their Math courses and the effect adaptive tools have had on the course outcomes of their Math students.

Featured panelists:
Blerta Ereditario, Math Faculty, Lorain Community College
Nicholas Schur, Professor and Chair, Mathematics, Kendall Campus, Miami Dade College
Lanie Culligan, Math Faculty, Indian River State College
